The Baldwin Jacket is part of our collection of weatherproof waxed cotton jackets and vests. Built with all the proven durability and technical features that Tom Beckbe waxed jackets are known for, the Baldwin has a lightweight, weatherproof 6oz waxed cotton shell that is ideal for moderate climates.
An 11-wale corduroy wrist lining and collar with storm latch provide comfortable, warm protection from the wind and a contrast-colored accent. Set-in sleeves provide flattering structure through the shoulders, while gusseted underarms and a bi-swing back allow for a full range of motion. The sleeves are lined with a smooth poly twill that glides over layers with ease and close with a snap cuff. Two chest hand warmer pockets are perfect for cold days, while large front bellow pockets provide ample storage and conceal two additional lower hand warmer pockets. A hidden Napoleon pocket keeps cellphones and other valuables dry and provides easy access without releasing heat. A cotton liner inspired by Alabama red clay adds a touch of color to the interior, and an interior collar stand lined with Bedford corduroy provides welcome protection from the cold.
The Baldwin waxed jacket has a classic fit. It is slightly more tailored through the midsection than the Tensaw Jacket.
